Kadukkai or Haritaki, popularly known as Harde in Hindi, is considered an effective remedy for many health disorders and is known to be helpful in all 3 doshas - Vata, Pitta and Kapha. As per Ayurveda, Haritaki is a potent laxative, rejuvenator, astringent, anti-bilious and anti-oxidant. Its intake provides relief in a wide range of gastrointestinal issues like indigestion, heartburn, diarrhoea, flatulence and stomach pain.
It’s also known to energize the body and is beneficial for skin and hair too. Since Haritaki is anti-inflammatory in nature, it is used in treating various respiratory problems like the common cold, cough and flu, bronchitis and asthma. Cured chronic cough (mild Bronchitis) magicallyNamaskaram, I am very grateful to Isha for this medicine. My mother was suffering with mild bronchitis for more than one year. She had tried cough suppressants & antibiotics prescribed by the Allopathy doctors, but that didn't cure. With the use of Haritaki/Kadukkai tablets for couple of weeks she started seeing improvement then she continued for 3 months, her cough is now completely gone!!! and she wants to continue using this medicine to be on the safer side. I am writing this review because people who are suffering from mild bronchitis or chronic cough please try this for 3 months to see the result.
