I bought it for doing Kriyas and spiritual practices.It feels like you are sitting on mud. It can't feel more natural. It is rough and smooth at the same time, perfect for your meditation and asanas. You will not slip at all. Must buy for anyone who is sincerely doing the sadhana.

This works very well for all of my yoga practices. I had issues with the cotton mats because they would slip on tiled or laminated floors. The rubber coating in this one makes sure that the mat is stabled while practicing yogasanas and angamardhana.
