Sadhguru consecrated the first the Adiyogi: The Abode of Yoga at the Isha Yoga Center through a powerful yogic process of Prana Pratishtha on September 23rd, 2015.  The Abode of Yoga is a powerful energy source designed for anyone to enhance their well-being. Simply sitting within the Abode allows one to reach an elevated state of consciousness and to know yoga as an inner experience beyond mere knowledge, philosophy, or technique.  

The Adiyogi at the Isha Yoga Center measures 112 ft, symbolizing the 112 possibilities to attain liberation.  A second 21-ft Adiyogi resides at the Isha Institute for Inner Sciences in McMinnville, Tennessee.

This 4 inch statue, an exact replica of the 21-ft Adiyogi at the Isha Institute of Inner Sciences in McMinnville Tennessee and the 112-ft Adiyogi at the Isha Yoga Center in Tamil Nadu, India, serves as a powerful reminder of the possibilities the first Yogi transmitted so that all may transcend their limitations and reach their ultimate potential.

Consecrated Isha Vibhuti

Isha Vibhuti is consecrated by being kept  in the Dhyanalinga temple at the Isha Yoga Center in South India for a period of time. It is traditionally applied on the forehead between the eyebrows to enhance receptivity and sensitivity.

Consecrated Adiyogi Abhaya Sutra 

There is a different kind of intelligence in inanimate things. Essentially, a sutra is a medium. We could use something else, but a thread is an easy and handy way to do it.

The consecrated thread is worn tied around the wrist to remove fear and provide support in fulfilling one’s ambitions. 

Women wear the sutra on the left wrist, men on the right. The sutra should be worn for a minimum of 40 days.  When removed (untied or burned, but not cut), it should be disposed of by burying in moist soil or it may be burned and the ashes applied to the body from the pit of the throat (vishuddhi) to the center of the chest (anahata).

Adiyogi Vastram

The Adiyogi vastram is a 20”x21” sacred cloth which assists in repelling negative influences, and brings auspiciousness. It can be placed in your meditative space, in front of your home or in your vehicle. When experiencing ill-health, the vastram can be placed under the pillow while sleeping.
