Woven from a legacy of conscious craftsmanship, this saree is an ode to slow luxury and Bharat’s living textile traditions. Crafted in Maharashtra from wild tussar silk, the saree is created using peace silk, allowing the silkworms to complete their natural life cycle. These cocoons are handspun into yarns, giving the fabric its distinctive raw texture and organic slubs that are characteristic of wild tussar silk.

The base of the saree carries a soft natural beige with warm golden undertones, reflecting the unbleached, earthy essence of tussar. It is woven in the rare Karvati interlock weave from Vidarbha, lending strength, fluid drape, and subtle depth to the fabric. Running along the length of the saree are striking “Ganga Jamuna” borders, featuring a harmonious play of teal and muted red accents, edged with fine linear detailing. These vibrant borders create a beautiful contrast against the neutral body, framing the saree with quiet elegance. 

The pallu continues this dialogue of color with delicate horizontal striping in teal and red, while the solid front body remains serene and understated, allowing the natural sheen and texture of the silk to stand out. All hues are achieved using natural dyes, resulting in colors that feel grounded, breathable, and timeless.
